Do you like dirt biking? -Colin GreenNo. Geese hunting For geese hunting the way we got ready is.. first we gather all the equipment we need for hunting such as decoys, blinds, materials to make hides, gun, ammunition, chairs to sit down on, warm clothes if you’re hunting in the winter and goose calls. We usually get ready a day or two before we go on our trip. The next morning we all met at the Outdoor Ed building across from our school at 5 in the morning, we gathered all the stuff, hauled it to the trucks and we were on our way to Hecla. It took a while to get there so most of us fell asleep on the bus. When we arrived there we dressed up, unloaded the blinds and moved out to the lake and set up. That day we got 8 geese altogether, one group got 4 , the other group got 3 and the last group 1. After getting our geese we took pictures then loaded up and left back to Riverton for something to eat. When we got back to Fisher River we went back to the shed to clean, plug and singe the geese. Fishing The same things go for fishing trips, get all the stuff ready. There’s lots of stuff to take .. hip waders, fishing rods, spears, chest waders, proper clothing, rubbers and fishing nets. After getting ready we get into trucks and ride out to Sunny Valley to fish in the creeks. The boys are usually the ones to go all the way down to the other end of the creeks, but others just stay close to the culverts. All together they got 9 fish, Devon caught the most. During our fishing trip we usually chase the fish right down to the culverts so the others can catch them with a net instead of spearing them, sometimes we put them back in the water depending on if their still alive or not. Everyone usually goes in the water except for me, I the one that takes all the pictures on trips.
